Technology planning, platform choices and operating models, judged by whether the business can carry the decision.
Eliga Ltd, United Kingdom
Digital strategy for businesses that run on connected systems.
Eliga advises on platforms, integration, data, search performance and the commercial infrastructure around them. The advice stays close to how those systems are chosen, joined and run.
The practice
A platform decision is a commercial decision.
It decides where a fact is stored, which team can change it, and what can still be measured six months later.
Eliga works across that span. Digital strategy sets the direction. Platform and integration work make the direction operable. Data, automation and search performance show whether the system is doing the job the business thought it would.
The company also develops and operates its own digital products and platforms. That operating experience sits alongside the advisory work. The same questions apply: structure, interfaces, records and the cost of change.
Expertise
Five practices
Each practice has its own page. The short account below is only the map. Read the overview.
02
Platforms and integration
Enterprise applications, SaaS, interfaces and the architecture that joins them into a system people can run.
03
Data and automation
How facts move between systems, how reports are produced, and which workflows are stable enough to automate.
04
Digital performance
Organic search, technical quality, content structure and measurement for a website or platform.
05
Commercial technology
The records, integrations and attribution that let a business transact with partners and distributors.
Connected work
The disciplines only make sense together.
A strategy, an interface and a measurement belong to the same question. Separated, none of them changes how a business operates.
-
01
Strategy
The commercial question and the technology direction that answers it.
-
02
Platforms
The applications and services the operation will actually depend on.
-
03
Integration
The interfaces that let those systems exchange a fact once.
-
04
Data
Reporting and automation built on records the business can trust.
-
05
Performance
Search, speed and measurement once the system is in use.
Technology and operations
Depth is in the joins, not in a list of tools.
Connected platforms matter because work already crosses them. An order, a partner referral, a support case or a published page rarely lives in one application. The useful architecture names the boundary, the owner of the record, and what happens when a downstream system refuses the message.
Automation belongs where the rule is stable. Infrastructure, including cloud, belongs where the organisation hosts the software. For multi-tenant SaaS, the vendor runs the application infrastructure, and the remaining decisions are tenancy, identity, configuration, integration and the cost of leaving.
Engineering is one of the capabilities used to change those systems. It sits with architecture and operations. Platforms and integration
Commercial perspective
Technology cost shows up in the operation, not only in the licence.
Decisions
A build, a buy or a decision to leave a platform is judged by the operating consequence: who administers it, what it records, and how hard it is to change.
Complexity
Extra systems feel harmless until two of them disagree about the same event. The grain, the timing and the owner of the fact are commercial issues as soon as someone has to reconcile them.
Performance
Search visibility, page speed and partner attribution are ways of reading whether the digital system is doing the work. They are not a substitute for the operational picture behind the site.
